After celebrating its move to new home XOYO with a massive party last month, Deviation rolls out the big guns straight away with this formiddable double bill. Hugely in-demand producer, remixer and one half of a mildly popular lo-fi duo, Jamie xx is as happy laying down a killer Boiler Room set as he is remixing Radiohead or Gil Scott-Heron, so expect smoky downtempo goodness among bassier endeavours. He's joined by brilliant, enigmatic electronica misfit Actress, who can get as progressive as the best of them if he wants to. He's playing a rare DJ set, so one can only imagine the oddball gems you'll find hiding in his record collection. An explosive start to Deviation's XOYO residency.
