Red Bull Music Academy Presents Gilles Peterson

Global beats maestro and all-round ace selector Gilles Peterson brings his ocean-deep record bag to a popular Islington party pub in order to play a special 'bag full of 7s set'. In other words, he'll be playing only 7-inch vinyl – a treat indeed from someone with a record collection as extensive and eclectic as Peterson's. Expect anything from deep disco to sweatbox house to Latin jazz to Afrobeat to dub at this show, hosted by Red Bull Music Academy. Also throwing around the beats will be Throwing Snow, who specialises in atmospheric electronica layered with chunky hip hop-ish beats.
