North London guitar-slingers and the college-age indie kids that love them both get to act like rock stars with debauched impunity at this former equine hospital, now converted into a bar and a photographic gallery that's chiefly engaged in rock 'n' roll myth-making (U2, Kings of Leon, the Libertines).
With cocktail or beer bottle in hand, the artfully shambolic punters drape themselves over the luxurious textiles in the individual stable-style booths, sink into deck chairs on the outdoor terrace, or spin around in the main band room to trendinista electro, indie and alternative sounds. Look out for under-the-radar live sets from the likes of Johnny Borrell, Carl Barât and other alt-rock journeymen.
