The Colonel – A Weirdos Comedy Production

Critics' choice
After months of working their creative powers ragged, Weirdos Comedy Club promoter Adam Larter and his whimsical storytelling partner in crime Matthew Highton are finally ready to reveal 'The Colonel': an alternative Christmas panto. This seasonal production follows last year's theatrical interpretation of the 1991 Disney hit 'Hook', during which the Weirdos team performed a brilliantly silly, shambolic version of the entire film. Many more preposterous scenes will undoubtedly ensue in 'The Colonel', but unlike 'Hook', this is a completely original performance. Have you ever wondered how a simple chicken-fryer became a colonel? Well wonder no more, because the Weirdos will explain it all in a tale of war and cocks. Featuring a cast including Ali Brice, Ben Target, Beth Vyse, John Kearns, Pat Cahill, Chris Boyd, Stuart Laws, Gareth Morinan, Marny Godden and of course Larter and Highton. Here for four fun-fuelled nights, to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Have seen many of the cast do stand up and they were frigging hilair, put them all in a panto in a working men's club and they are FRIGGIN HILAIR. Cannot recommend highly enough. Everything was beautiful.

I know that anything starring my good friend and sworn enemy the colonel will just be amazing and disturbing. Love and kisses!

I declare wholeheartedly my unflinching support for this momentous endeavour. Though my involvement is diminished compared to the previous anum, this hampers the quality only marginally. Rest assured dear admirers, my stamp of approval is hither; what more could one require?
