Earthfall Dance: Chelsea Hotel

0 Love It
A new dance work inspired by New York's legendary Chelsea Hotel. Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll all make an appearance as choreographers Jessica Cohen and Jim Ennis attempt to capture the spirit of the 60s when Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe roamed the halls that were home, over the years, to rockers, writers and artists including Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Janis Joplin and Iggy Pop.

This is something I might not ordinarily go to see but have to say I was blown away by it! Very powerful piece with spellbinding dancing and fantastic music - loved it! Would highly recommend to anyone, thank you Earthfall!

A fast paced and thought provoking production- what a great blend of physical theatre and contemporary dance. If you haven't seen Earthfall yet you should do so immediately. As a drama teacher this is a brilliant company to go and see.
