The grizzled grunge wildman makes a welcome return, dropping in with his band to play songs from his new 'Phantom Radio' album. As well as a synthpoppy new wave influence, the fresh material shows off Lanegan's throaty vocals and hard-rocking roots to fine effect, and should make for a kickin' live show.
