What better location could there be for a season of music-films than iconic Camden Market? The cobbles are hosting a week-long festival, screening Prince’s extraordinary live extravaganza ‘Purple Rain', the brilliant Kurt Cobain documentary ‘Cobain: Montage of Heck’ and more.
Organisers Backyard Cinema started out in their back garden in Hackney showing movies projected on to a bed sheet. This is their fourth year in Camden, where they’ve kept that 'friends and family’ feel – albeit with 200 deckchairs, beanbags, a giant screen, food by Honest Burgers and beer courtesy of the Meantime brewery.
