Manic Mechanics and River Tinkers

This free activity day will see families learn all about River Tinkers – curious characters who live on narrow boats and spend their days doing odd jobs and a little fishing. Hear stories about their adventures in the Breaker's Yard garden and make your own River Tinker puppet to go home with. Artist Annie Kelley will run a musical instrument making workshop inspired by the sounds of a working car yard and a 'Manic Mechanics' Easter egg trail will lead intrepid explorers to some delicious prizes. The egg trail (which will run every day from March 28-April 12) costs £1.50 per child and all other acitivites are free.
