  • I got myself down to Covent Garden about a month ago and was eye balling them cute, reindeer but the day was spoilt for me by a spoiled rotten self entitled brat wearing a pink princess dress trying to poke one of the reindeer that looked a bit dead with her fairy wand. Then her clearly drunk mother slapped her and said you'll get more of that later, leaving her in in floods of tears. Other than that I had a great day out.

  • i concur: Poor reindeer, having to stand there for 5 hours with humans fawning over them...hideous idea! How would you like to be in an enclosure and have strangers touching you? Spend the time more productively and do something more worth while to help animals on the planet.

  • The reindeer didn't seem too bothered sitting down and walking up to folk when they felt like some lichen, lots of petting and eating from hands going on. Sorry to hear Tinas experience of it. No hurrying on at all (though after about 15 mins I wouldn't have minded them hurrying on my 28 year old gf)

  • They took the picture in a way not showing how small the place is! Poor two reindeers being fed all day and hardly have a place to move. It should be at least 4 times bigger with some place for them to rest.

  • How can they call it reindeer petting when you're not allowed to touch the reindeers! We went yesterday (12/11) and they can two reindeers in a small gated circle surrounded by another gated outer circle which we had to walk (squeeze) around so we only got a minute to see the reinders. This left my 3 year old daughter in a floods of tears as she thought the reindeers looked sad and couldn't understand why she wasn't allowed to pet them as we had promised. Thanks Covent Garden for ruining what would had been such lovely day out for us!
