Drawing Fashion

Original twentieth- and twenty-first-century fashion drawings, from classic and avant-garde couture houses including Chanel, Poiret, Dior, Comme de Garçons and Viktor & Rolf. The show, which also features garments, emphasises the way in which illustrations give fashion collections a distinctive overall look that goes beyond what photography can accomplish, with the result that some sketches have become recognisable graphic icons in their own right.
