Out of this World

'Science Fiction but not as you Know it': This exhibition draws on classic science fiction texts and works of utopian and speculative fiction such as Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', George Orwell's '1984' and Audrey Niffenegger's 'The Time-Traveler's Wife' to show how writers have used the genre to explore alternative ideas about science, politics, society and the future.
