Subtitled 'The Art of Textile Design in Postwar Britain', this exhibition examines the new wave of industrial and commercial design that, in the years immediately following WWII, created an innovative and modern approach to living in the UK. The show focuses on the textile designs of women designers including Lucienne Day, Jacqueline Groag and Marian Mahler, whose distinctive, often geometric designs are synonymous with mid-century-modern style.
