A display about data visualisation -the presentation of information abstracted into a visual form - through over the decades. Often thought of as a phenomenon of the twenty-first century, data visualisation has featured on transport posters dating back to at least the 1930s. The images on display, by Hans Schleger, James Fitton and others were designed to promote the benefits of travelling by public transport in London, or to tell the public about services provided.
