Billing itself as an 'indie pop festival', this supremely nerdy weekender tackles its niche subject brilliantly, mixing music with steam trains. Yep, that's right. It's set in Derbyshire's Midland Railwat Centre, and visitors can enjoy steam train rides and visits to railway museums as part of the ticket price. Super Furry Animals/Neon Neon dude Gruff Rhys is always a safe bet for a good performance, and London indie-pop types Allo Darlin' should bring in a good crowd, as will Withered Hand – he of cult Scottish folk label and collective Fence Records.
