  • The door staff look you up and down far too much to be acceptable the bar staff are lovely. The down stairs manager Peter needs to learn some ppl skills as he is rude and takes glasses the instant you buy a bottle. Oh and when you say they are clean he gets you chucked out.

  • Booked a table for 10 + people for lunch and when we arrived absolutely nothing. We had to wait to then talk to the person we booked with and be seated awkwardly around 3 small tables in different positions. After 30 we got a full table but by that time a lot of the people had to leave and had no time to order their food. Shame as the food looked great too but the experience killed the vibe and my work mates Birthday lunch:(

  • God,the kind of place that makes you wish all itinerant clubbing tourists/kids/students were only allowed day-release visas to London, and had to continue their mindless, tipsy idiot-swagger in sticky-floored mirrored noise boxes outside of the M25. Just leave us alone, before your iPhones become the most interesting reason to physically intereact with you - London is no longer tolerant. Time Out,please don't advertise these places, for all of our sakes(theirs in particular!)

  • Went to see a rather tame Dj EZ there last night but had the ridiculous situation of waiting for nearly an hour and a quarter in an increasingly disorganised queue(people quite clearly being allowed to push in). On finally getting inside there was more than enough space to have justified allowing people in at a greater rate, and no reason for the excessive queueing and lack of information at all. Waiting is understandable, but this place is just a mess run by naieve novices who simply don't know how to handle their rather unwarranted popularity on a given night. Just not worth it,and enjoyed a better and cooler night closer to Dalston where less drunken tourists knew how to behave themselves and share a club space.

  • Planning a visit this Friday (8th) and after reading all the comments, I can not say I am excited at all ... I really hope my friend's birthday isn't a complete crap-fest!

  • A friend recommended this place to me so I went on Saturday, had a great time! It was very busy but i got in quickly. Drinks were very reasonable for a London bar and the staff all seemed to know what they were doing, very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

  • It was a shame that the chef, as the waitress told us, was 'in a bad mood', and refused to cook pancakes, despite all of the ingredients being readily available. It was nice that she told me I was 'taking it very well'. I would have enjoyed my coffee with milk, had it come with milk. The tomatoes in the 'cooked' breakfast I settled for were utterly cold. My friend described the Hollandaise as 'metallicy butter'. On the upside there was a very sweet little girl in a Paddington Bear raincoat, but I can't guarantee she'll be there again.

  • We went here for after work drinks on a thursday. Where do I start! Aggressive bouncers. Snooty bar staff. Over priced drinks. The toilets are shared and stink! A DJ who was equally as rude. I mean come on it's not difficult to be polite and friendly. This place is one to avoid. Thank goodness there's more choice in Old Street these days.
