The Jazz cafe is great, really small and intimate venue! I saw a really great ska band there and it was really intimate and so much fun! Really easy to get to and there is also a balcony area where you can get dinner!

The café is renowned for hosting the biggest names in the jazz and soul world before they become famous, so pay attention to the support act - it might be the next big thing. The restaurant, on a raised platform above the stage, offers the best seats in the house. All starters are £5.95 and all mains £16.50, apart from dishes served for two people which are exactly double both those prices. Note: when you book a table you have to prepay the cost of the main course in advance. The cost is redeemable on the night but cannot be transferred or refunded. Note also: the restaurant is open only on event nights.
