Time Out says

Blind since the age of eight, when an eye-infection was agonisingly mistreated, Indian sitar player Shrivastav has gone on to forge himself a pretty mighty legacy. Sure, he's played with everyone from Massive Attack and Madness to Stevie Wonder, and last year joined Coldplay for the closing ceremony of the 2012 Paralympic Games. But his greatest achievement has been recruiting 13 fellow blind musicians from India, Iran, Japan, Nigeria and Lebanon to form the Inner Vision Orchestra, who play music from Indian ragas to gospel and soul. They'll accompany him here, along with the National Youth Orchestra, as he performs a new composition about his immigrant experience in London, including his first drink in a pub (complete with slot machine sounds). Conducted by Charles Hazlewood.
