Time Out says

Yes, this is the same Amy Studt who had trashy hits with ‘Just a Little Girl’ and ‘Misfit’ over a decade ago. She was dropped by Polydor after one album, but she never stopped making music and now has a set of haunting, psychedelic new songs influenced by Mazzy Star, Nancy Sinatra and the spookier sides of The Shangri-Las and the Laurel Canyon folk scene. The only thing she’s kept is a knack for a pop hook. Don’t judge Studt by her past life: this is lovely stuff.
