Freak out! Here’s another chance to catch Nile Rodgers and his polysexual disco troupe live in London. Having shot back into prominence thanks to his guest spot on Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’, Rodgers and the current version of Chic have been on excellent form as a live band for the last few years, and can be relied upon to pump out non-stop hits including ‘Good Times’, ‘Le Freak’, ‘I Want Your Love’ and versions of some of the Bowie, Madonna and Sister Sledge hits Rodgers worked on in his Disco King heyday. And for the first time in 23 years, they’ll also have some fresh material to play: a new album is due later this year. Très chic.
