These LA folk-rockers one-up Mumford & Sons by having an actual family connection in the band: the Goldsmith brothers, Taylor on vocals and guitar and Griffin on drums. Their obsessive recreation of soft, rootsy ’70s rock has driven them to record live onto tape in Laurel Canyon, and their harmonies and tales of the road betray a deep devotion to Crosby, Stills & Nash and The Eagles.
