Scorching US tenorist Watts is perhaps best known for his long standing work with iconic bassist Charlie Haden's highly evocative Quartet West, is a breathtaking soloist straight out of jazz's top drawer.In spite of being a veteran of countless jazz and pop sessions (including the original soundtrack to 'Grease') his playing remains fresh, full of exciting detail and harmonic nuance. He's here for two rare nights with his trio of pianist Christof Saenger, drummer Heinrich Koebberling and bassist Rudi Engel.
