Legendary German free-jazz saxophonist – whose huge, screaming sound has been one of the most distinctive and celebrated in international improv since the late '60s – rocks up for an ear-splitting, gut-wrenching three-night residency with the most ferocious improv ten-piece on the planet. The stellar line up here includes Swedish skronk meister Gustafsson (The Thing), drum monster Nilssen-Love, and angry-sounding altoist Vandermark, in a jet engine of a band which should blow the roof off this venue.
