Virtuoso violinist Irmina Trynkos teams up with deft Italian pianist Marco Fatichenti at the second in a salon series hosted by Jewish cultural mag Jewish Renaissance. The duo will be shedding light on the little known, late Jewish-Polish composer Ignatz Waghalter by playing his Sonata in F Minor. Rodney Greenberg, former executive producer of the BBC Proms, will interview Trynkos about her discovery, and recent album, of Waghalter pieces. Trynkos and Fatichenti will also perform Sonata No 3 in D Minor by Brahms, nigun (Jewish religious music) from Bloch's Baal Shem, Prelude No 1 by Gershwin/Heifetz, Schindler's List Theme by Williams and Ravel's Tzigane. Plus canapés from kosher cooks Carmelli.
