The pre-eminent Hammond player of today, stepping into the sizable shoes of the late, great Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco scorched onto the scene in 1989 aged only 17 with the blistering 'All Of Me'. A veteran of heavyweight sessions with Miles Davis, Bobby Hutcherson, John McLaughlin and Smith himself, he's emerged as a player of fiery authority.
