London Gypsy Orchestra

Critics' choice
Vibrant gypsy-jazz sounds from this energetic, 45-strong ensemble. They play high-octane Balkan, Russian, Bulgarian and Macedonian music on violins, mandolins and accordions under the musical direction of virtuoso fiddle player Gundula Gruen.

Finally! This is the first ever proper Ederlezi celebration in London! Thanks London Gypsy Orchestra for bringing here the magic of the Gypsy Spring Festival that celebrates Life! These musicians are fantastic! 45 musicians! I think it's the biggest orchestra of this kind in Europe, actually... I've got one of their official flyers for this event, and it says that 8pm is the starting time for the concert. However, to get tickets on the door it's better to be there at 7.15pm, when the box office opens. It also says that it's possible to buy online in pre-sale on www[]lgo-tickets[]co[]uk
