LONDON JAZZ FESTIVAL: Brass Jaw/Gwyneth Herbert

Remarkably funky even without bass and drums, Brass Jaw are an impressive mix of good time showmanship and serious virtuosity. A dynamic Scottish quartet with three saxes and one trumpet, led by altoist Paul Towndrow, they embrace a variety of jazz styles with great interplay via imaginative arrangements.
