Remarkably funky even without bass and drums, Brass Jaw are an impressive mix of good time showmanship and serious virtuosity. A dynamic Scottish quartet with three saxes and one trumpet, led by altoist Paul Towndrow, they embrace a variety of jazz styles with great interplay via imaginative arrangements. Today's matinee show (a collaboration with jazz diva Herbert) an interactive show about how jazz works for anyone older than four.
