The loose, London-based F-IRE Collective is the UK's leading and perhaps most influential modern jazz group. This afternoon's F-IRE showcase presents three duos: Dorian Ford and Jonny Phillips investigate intersections of Hispanic guitar and American piano, Fred Thomas and Zac Gvi twist songbook classics as on their new record 'Living Standards', and guitarist Jonathan Bratoëff plays his original compositions with bassist Andrea Dibiase.
