MELTDOWN: Nick Zinner – 41 Strings

Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist and New York skeleton king Nick Zinner rolls up at James Lavelle's Meltdown festival to lead a performance of '41 Strings', his 2011 piece for Earth Day. Structured around the four seasons and created with Hisham Akira Bharoocha and Soft Circle's Ben Vida, '41 Strings' employs traditional orchestral strings alongside electric and acoustic guitars and bass guitars, drums and synths. This'll be its first performance in the UK.
