Gravelly, romantic jazz ballads by the veteran Italian singer-songwriter

A loose, loping jazz sound, a gravelly, Tom Waits-style croon, and an exquisitely world-weary yet deeply romantic outlook make this Italian singer’s shows an absolute joy. Conjuring up a rarified blend of tango, blues and melancholic late night balladry, Conte evokes a dreamlike mix of Argentinean folk with New Orleans jazz. The results are irresistibly intoxicating, especially when you bear in mind he used to be a lawyer.

A wonderful night full of fantastic old favorites a great mixture of singing and musical interludes with spectaular solos interspersed by Paolo Conte's marevlous voice and ending in a well deserved standing ovation. A great evening
