Tom Paxton/Janis Ian

Two American folk greats stop off in London tonight on their joint tour of the UK. With his flat-cap and moustache, Paxton may look like a 'Dad's Army' character, but he's revered for gentle classics including 'The Last Thing on My Mind' and 'Ramblin' Boy' which he's been performing for over 50 years. Janis Ian is a generation younger, but she's just as renowned for songs including 'At Seventeen' and 'Water Colors'. To see them play together should be something special.
