Wide Awake bills itself as a ‘musical melting pot’ and ‘counter cultural celebration’, offering up leftfield indie, post-punk, electronica, techno and much, much more.
This year the festival takes place on May 25 and the headliners are psychedelic Aussie rockers King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Scottish pop trio Young Fathers and legendary shoegazers Slowdive.
Further down the line-up, 2024 is set to be Wide Awake’s biggest year yet. Squid, Sevdaliza, The Dare, Ben UFO, Alice Glass, yeule, Special Interest, Lynks, Hannah Diamond, Dry Cleaning and Johnny Jewel are just some of the names on the bill.
