Leading Polish film composer Zbigniew Preisner conducts the Britten Sinfonia strings and Crouch End Festival Chorus in the UK premiere of his 'Diaries of Hope'– a new work inspired by the diaries and poems of Polish children who were victims of the Holocaust.
Lisa Gerrard from spellbinding duo Dead Can Dance performs in the principal vocal role alongside boy soprano Archie Buchanan.
(Preisner is best known for his scores for the films of Krzysztof Kieslowski. Including 'Dekalog', 'The Double Life Of Veronique' and 'Three Colours Blue'.)
