Minimalism Unwrapped: The Smith Quartet

The Smith Quartet drops in for two evenings at Kings Place. On Wednesday they explore the music of adventurous post-minimalists working in Europe: Gavin Bryars, Graham Fitkin, Louis Andriessen, Steve Martland and the world premiere of ‘Northern Shore’ by Denmark-based American Wayne Siegel. On Thursday the quartet tackle Bang on a Can composers including Meredith Monk and Steve Reich.
