I made this journey two years ago with my late Mom and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the highlights of our visit to London. Even though I had lived in London some years ago and returned since on many occasions I never know it existed until I saw a listing in Time Out. It was a beautiful sunny morning when we arrived at Little Venice so our half hour wait was easily spent soaking up the atmosphere. When the boat arrived the staff were very friendly and immediately helped my Mom aboard. We spent the journey peering out the windows trying to identify all the landmarks as we passed them. The journey passed all too quickly and in no time at all Camden Lock was in view. As we climbed off the boat we were greeted by the bustling crowd of a busy Sunday market day. What a spectacular way to arrive in Camden Town. Highly recommended and certainly high on my agenda when I visit London again soon.
Was awful. Paid £8 to sit inside this big floating tank with a bunch of pensioners whilst the speakers droned out a monotonous historical tour of footpaths, some trees and caged pheasants. The manager was a woman called Maggie, and she was really rude to us, demanding that we pay extra for "departure tax" and "luggage handling". She was a real bully and reminded me of the teachers that I used to have at Catholic School. I'd recommend going with one of the other companies.
