  • A stupid waste of time and an insulting waste of a great space. Like a badly-organised flash mob. Tragic when so many of the Turbine Hall artworks have been so good. No, it's not true that only great art arouses emotions and stimulate controversy, anyway certainly not in this case. Make sure you miss this.

  • My life has totally changed after seeing this. I have taken up middle-management position in a provincial betting shop chain and things are really looking up. I used to be in transport.

  • I'm really surprised by these negative reviews; this was the best thing I've seen in the Turbine and possibly one of the most engaging pieces of art I have ever had the privilege to enjoy. The periods of movement were varied enough to provoke a variety of emotions, certainly joining in and playing games with the strangers was entertaining, the stories were thought provoking and well delivered, the participants were welcoming and very happy to enter conversations with us. My only regret is that I didn't walk up to my own stranger and deliver a insightful anecdote about my own past. Go and see it!

  • I really disliked this. I think it was mostly because I was so touched by one of the installation pieces at the Damien Hirst's show- that when coming downstairs it seemed like art was being mocked. No effort put into it, completely anti-social, and very annoying. I hope this ends soon. It definately takes away from the rest of the museum.

  • Unbelievably unique. One of the best and most engaging art forms I've ever experienced. I recommend opening your mind to it and getting involved in every way you're not used to in a museum.

  • I totally agree with the other critiques. This is a big yawn compared to many of the other works designed for the turbine hall. Hope it finishes soon! Awful

  • At first it will drag you in, but I agree with Pauls comment below. The people running around randomly firing peices of information at you became quickly irretating. They all seemed completely sefl indulged and would scorn people taking pictures (come on, your running around the turbine hall of one of the most vsited attractions in London, people are going to take pictures!). Would not go out of my way to visit again.

  • I visited this installation and found it irritating. The people running around the hall would stop me and fire out a random anecdote, to which I was encouraged to respond, when I did respond with a similar experience they would just run away as I was mid-sentence; leaving you feeling like a complete idiot. Incredibly self-indulgent on the performers' part, the whole experience seemed to be on their terms. This experience had nothing on Tacita Dean's use of the hall.
