This Deptford Italian restaurant, aims to transport the authentic, traditional flavours of south-east Italy to the heart of south-east London. Its name comes from the Italian toast, roughly translated as 'cheers!'.
The menu includes a charcuterie sharing platter while mains are unfussy – think pasta served with minced beef, vegetables or organic goat's cheese. It's the pizzas that take centre stage, though - they're proofed for 24 hours, freshly prepared with organic flour and extra virgin olive oil, and served with a choice of 14 topping options. The classic margherita comes with fresh basil, and the piccante with spicy salami, mozzarella, tomato sauce and oregano.
