really unimpressed with the food here. We both had roasts - the veg and potatoes were really undercooked (the roast potatoes were more like boiled potatoes). The roast chicken was really dry, not tasty at all, plus served in a bowl so difficult to eat. We asked for the gravy separately but this was not done so my boyfriend's lunch was drenched in gravy (which he hates). Also extremely slow service - had to wait ages for our order to be taken and then even longer for our food to arrive. Maybe ok for drinks but won't be going back for food.

GRIM FOOD, really really GRIM... We ordered two burgers, we got them before we sat down - obviously another customers rejected food! It was stone cold - as it had been sitting on the side for about half an hour I'm sure. We sent them back, and got new ones. The bap was literally wet - so I couldn't pick the burger up! The chips were horrible, and we got a teaspoon of greasy cold slaw. The burger was dry, and I nearly choked on it and not one member of staff came anywhere near us to ask if our food was okay. Then our dirty plates sat infront of us for a good half hour. It really was APPALLING.

Good beer, food extremely slow outside and bar service a little nonchalant also. Nice crowd and surroundings

The environment of the pub is reasonable - but - We ordered 3 burgers and one eggs benedict. Two of the burgers arrived burnt (badly). They were sent back and replacements did not arrive until after the other two people had finished their meal. The eggs benedict arrived cold and flavourless plus the sauce had split. The chef brought the replacement burgers out which was nice BUT I would have to say that the quality of the food was the worst I have had in London.

I love this pub with its sofas and the fireplace in winter ! they have the Blue Moon beer as well !
