There are some great views at the Hotel Rafayel's in-house restaurant - it's right on the banks of the Thames, just up from Battersea. Floor-to-ceiling windows maximise the gazing opportunities, but the al fresco roof terrace probably proves the plum spot.
There's certainly plenty of variety on the food menu, with the evening a la carte offering dishes ranging from crispy Peking duck with pancakes and hoisin sauce to homemade lobster ravioli, fillet mignon, jerk chicken and an Indonesian beef rendang. Authentic Indian dishes prove justifiably popular, too.
The wine list features a decent selection by the glass, complemented by bottles taking in well known vineyards from worlds old and new. Cocktails comprise well-known classics, including a number of martinis.
