A short distance from the Turkish dining hubs of Stoke Newington High Street and Harringay’s Green Lanes, Beyti remains a great neighbourhood Turkish with a jovial evening atmosphere and a comfortingly kitsch interior mixing traditional Turkish lamps with old-fashioned landscape paintings. On one side, a busy ocakba€ı grill keeps the place toasty as well as filling it with delicious smells. After starters of flavoursome imam bayıldı (aubergine stuffed with tomatoes, onions and garlic) and some delicious own-made houmous, we enjoyed a classic lamb shish kebab – nothing surprising, but solid, standard stuff all the same. Beyti’s famously upbeat vibe leads to weekend evening crowds; expect to wait for a table at peak times.

Love Beyti. I have lived in Dalston for the last 14 years and eaten at many kebab places round there and further up Green Lanes - this continues to be my absolute favorite. Great flavours, excellently cooked and never greasy. Mmmmm.

The food was very salty, porsions were small and they charged a lot of money for their salty food. never ever again. I felt sick after dinner.
