This informal Korean restaurant in Soho was the first UK foray from an international chain with outposts in South Korea, China, Japan, Singapore and LA. There's now another London branch, up in Angel. Each offers Bibigo's take on 'Korean fast-food'.

Dishes range from japchae, tofu and chive dumplings and skewers of beef, oyster mushrooms and spring onions glazed with soy ginger sauce to bulgogi, soy braised ribs, dolsot bibimbap and beef brisket with a soybean paste stew. Kimchi features heavily elsewhere.

Keep an eye out for lunchtime specials and dinner deals at both branches.

I think this place is absolutely great. Perfect place for a lunch out with colleagues and friends.  I've always been able to book a table at lunch which makes for an easy lunch break.  Reasonably priced and really tasty food.  The lunch offer (three courses for £9 from a set menu) is a real winner.  I'd say go long on starters to share, the black pudding, green tacos, tofu dumplings, courgette pancake and squid all being personal faves.  The restaurant's got a nice ambiance, lighting/window peeking into the kitchen, it can be busy, but you feel a privacy between tables.  Great Soho shout.

I liked the simple decor and warm ambiance when you first walk in.  We also went for the 3 course £13 deal, which was definitely worth it, wine prices were also very reasonable. The place was very busy and the salad and the starter came at the same time but this was fine as we were pretty hungry!  By looking around, some of their dishes which are not on the deal seem better so might try dishes not part of the deal next time.

Really liked Bibigo. We went for the 3 courses for £13 deal, which was lovely. The compulsory salad starter wasn't your usual drab starter it was very flavoursome as were all the other courses. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also delicious. Service was really friendly. Would definitely come again, and recommend to all.

I can't disagree more with this review. I had lovely dinner in Bibigo several times. Every time I went there, their service is so impeccable and friendly. Their food is very fresh and so nice. Especially I like how they present their food, which I can't see any other Korean restaurant in London. I recommend this restaurant whenever people around me complain they don't know where to go in Soho. I think this review needs to be updated.

I completely disagree with the other remarks. My family and I spent an unforgetable evening in Bibigo. The food was just delicious, specially the red chicken, and the soup was excellent. The somellier recomended us a great french wine, and the service was really friendly and useful. I recomend it and I will come back for sure.

I have been to bibigo for at least 6 times now and it just gets better! I like how my jiggae (soup of the day) is always almost oil free and this isn't something u can find in other restaurant! service was wonderful and I love their Korean pancake dessert and their fresh fat succulent scallops!!! its a little expensive compared to other restaurant but the freshness and quality of food is incomparable. hv another big booking coming Feb I cant wait!

Rubbish. Much better and authentic korean fare to be had Just streets away. Avoid.

I usually agree with time out reviews, but in this case I couldn't disagree more! We went to Bibigo a few weeks ago and it was absolutely brilliant, the atmosphere was very lively, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. My husband had the short ribs and they were really amazing, would recommend it to anyone. This review is very suprising!

This is worst Korean I have tried. Just normal Korean food which is not better than other Korean restaurant.
