Café Montpeliano restaurant in London’s shopping mecca is the younger, quicker sibling of glamourous Ristorante Montpeliano around the corner, a tremendous spot for a quick meal and some serious people-watching in starry Knightsbridge.

Not a stone’s throw from Harrods, Armani, and the delights of Beauchamp Place, Café Montpeliano is a casual Italian brasserie.

Fabulous-looking clientele – and some tourists – nosh out on starter of carpaccio Cipriani, pasta of tortelloni with cream and rosemary, main course of steak Diana with vegetables, and dessert of tiramisu.

The décor harks back to the glory days of la dolce vita.

The pavement tables are molto populare.

Great coffee.

not happy, staff way snooty, cafe noisy. 2/10

my friend ordered this pasta dish and they have put too much chilli in, we normally eat a lot of hot foods but this was over the top, we all tried some of it and it was burning our stomach. The staff was not friendly at all, they were adamant that the dish should be this hot. not going there again.
