I went to Caffe Concerto's branch at Kensington High Street to escape the rain and meet two business associates owing to its practical location instead of the usual upmarket locations one would usually choose. The two associates were served with no trouble at all whereas I was rudely and deliberately ignored continuosly to the point of embarrassment and discomfort of my associates who were trying to pitch a business plan and gain my expertise. Having been extremely well travelled , never in all my years in Europe have I ever experienced such blatant racism and rudeness. I strongly suggest, having read the other similar reviews on other websites that the Investors of Cafe Concerto, in view of the recession should seriously consider disciplining and removing this individual who is well known for his unacceptable behaviour and unwarranted arrogance as it reflects badly on the brand name. London is a multicultural hub and this waiter should know his place and learn the duties of his job title ( exactly 'waiting' on customers first before bullying highly respected customers in this case regardless of ethnicity. The waiter in question was tall and probably of Rumanian/ Albanian descent apparently acting as the cafe manager- totally inappropriate behaviour and considering the empty tables despite the incessant rain certainly shows that this branch of Cafe Concerto has no idea of customer services and should close down instead of subjecting Londoners to this poor service. We shall be taking this further and welcome anyone else who has had a similar bad experience to come forward and complain as otherwise nothing will be done about it. I have never had the need to write a bad review but this was the height of bad customer service and I am using this as a platform to improve services.
