There’s a gentleman’s club feel to this grand, Grade II-listed Victorian building (once a library) and the high ceiling, book-lined gallery and crisp napery convey a sense of occasion. It’s an established haunt of sharp-suited power brokers and Westminster politicians who enjoy a fine-dining menu of updated rustic and regal pan-Indian dishes.

We liked the sliced veal escalope with its toasted coriander seasoning – an innovative complement to creamy tomato-cumin sauce. The spongy uthappam griddle cake made for a dressy and tasty spin on South Indian street food, the ground rice and lentil base glistening with a topping of softened onions and green chillies. Cumbrian farmers have chef Vivek Singh to thank for his signature Herdwick lamb curry. The meat wasn’t as tender as we’ve enjoyed on previous visits and could have done with longer on the stove, but the masala was spot-on, the browned onion paste fried to a russet-brown and spiced with ginger, cardamom and fiery chillies.

The kitchen excels in seafood preparations. A whiting fillet, cooked with precision, came with a marvellous rich coconut cream infused with ginger and turmeric. Prices are pegged at the sharp end, although the set menus are affordable. Service is professional, but doesn’t quite match the exemplary cooking.

Christmas celebration without food makes it slightly sketchy which is just ironic for London. And, my last year christmas in cinnamon club was exceptional and, i was freakingly happy with the incredible experience with Indian touch. Cocktail bar menu has huge choices for everyone. This tym i am done with my http://www.cinnamonclub.com/Christmas-bookings.

My favorite place to hangout with my friends every weekend. We spent lots of time there to chilling and drinking and watching Some good Indian movie. And there is a drink called "Delhi Mule" its awesome and one of the best drink, must try!! Definitely go this place at once when traveler to London.

Very disappointing. Gordon Ramsay-prices for bland, over-fussed about with food. Poor value for money, Spend the same amount of money at Hawksmoor instead and be wowed!

I loved it! Yes the food cooked and presented to us ( group of 20) was exceptionally well done. In my view, the team really has taken Indian cuisine to another milestone. Proud to be half Indian when I see Indian food reaching michelin star standards in the heart of London. We were a group of 20 odd colleagues and had mixed opinions about dining here. Soon after reaching the restaurant I shared my views with the manager on duty and then everything else went smoothly. Even the top Chef Singh came about saying hello on our table. Very relaxed approach by the man himself..Highly reccomend this place to all the culinary experts travelling to London.

My favourite bar and restaurant in London when it comes to Modern Indian food. Alongside they do show bollywood movies in their subterranean bar so you can be rest assured of the trendy Indian cocktails before dining in the famous grade 2 listed building The Cinnamon Club. One of the best indian restaurant offering best Indian style cocktails. My favorite was their take on molecular cocktails. Great style and show!Must try their canapes platter as well! http://www.cinnamonclub.com/Westminster-Bars

Went a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. The food was so delicious I practically cried when it was finished. I don't remember the service being poor, so perhaps it's gone downhill since then.

A major disappointment. We went to celebrate a special occasion and neither the service nor the food lived up to the hype. The level of service was, in fact, appalling. We had dirty glasses. We had to request the wine list three times before it was brought to us and the waiter tried to pressure us into ordering food less than five minutes after being seated and before we'd had a chance to see the wine list. The wine wasn't served until after we'd had our starters - and then ONLY because we had to ask for it twice! The food was mediocre. We'll never eat here again. There are plenty of Indian restaurants in London with better food and MUCH better service.
