This wildly popular Lebanese canteen, takeaway and deli is an almost frenetically bustling and bright enterprise, filled with glitzy, colourful designs by Beirut designer Rana Salam. The combination of casual atmosphere, punchy looks and an above-average menu works well, and the place is usually full – although not unbearably so. Choose carefully from the menu; pre-mixed salads can seem as if they’ve sat on the counter too long. The best things we tried were the hot dishes: splendid warm, cinnamon-spiked pumpkin kibbeh with yoghurt to dip them in; and excellent chicken with pomegranate syrup, both tart and sweet. The lemonades are great too, in flavours such as pomegranate or ginger. Prices are very reasonable.

I had a really good experience at the Broadgate Circle branch a few weeks ago. Popped in for a quick vegetarian breakfast after a workout and the combination of food was so authentic, well-spiced and filling! We had halloumi, fool (which is like a Lebanese version of baked beans - with very gentle spices), zaatar roasted mushrooms (my personal favourite!), sumac fried egg, grilled tomato, Lebanese potatoes and a generous basket of flat bread. The staff were really cheerful and friendly, and the decor was colourful, cheery and bright. Not having been to any of these restaurants before I was really pleasantly surprised!
I go often. The quality of both food and service is wildly inconsistent but the overall experience is never too disappointing. All the salads and the desserts are always fabulous (I think I could survive exclusively on halloumi salad and almond cake - the only inconsistence here is that the portions are sometimes average and sometimes humongous), the mezze platters are very good too, the wraps, well, they don't seem able to get them right, they go from meh to almost inedible. The service tends to err on the side of discretion but is usually very kind.
Had a wonderful experience on last Thursday eve with some friends ,Fabulous and nice warm place to sit with family & friends with great taste of food.Lovely staff and helpful spanish waitress was so kind also asian/arabic looks tall duty manager has recommend lovely mezze and lemonade with nice smile.simply adore this place .. Can't wait to go again with friends again
Used to be a fan of this place but the food has really gone down hill and the service is appalling, £7 for a wrap is criminal too! Will not be going back
what a great experience, the grilled section is amazing - succulent and tasty, try the chicken kofta, cant wait to go back - fresh lemonades just perfect and all at a good price, happy to have spent what we did, value for money -thx guys for making the evening special
Terrible service. Should've known not to dine there when it took me over 20 tries to get through on the phone to make a booking. Then I was double booked and had to wait to be seated at a dirty table. Would never go here again and warn anyone against it
