Loving the food here...I have great memories of watching World Cup games last year whilst eating a very tasty jerk chicken platter and sipping on rum punch! Thoroughly recommend especially for the summer!

Very disappointing experience. Manager (name unknown as he failed to introduce himself when requested to speak to us) more interested in drinking and smoking outside than helping the two young waitresses who were struggling to manage tables. Restricted menu of only three choices, chicken, chicken or seafood and no starters as we were a group of 12. Manager unhelpful and surly with us when we asked whether we could order off the main menu. Said it was for our benefit. HAHAHA. Correct me if I am wrong but when I go out to a restaurant to eat, I want to make my own choices about what I eat not be dictated to by a less than interested manager who wants an easy ride. We were presented with a "Party Menu" which was not what we wanted. If we had wanted to party we would have gone to a bar or a club. We went to a restaurant because we wanted a meal consisting of starter, main of our choice and dessert, but none of the staff seemed able to grasp that concept, in their one size fits all mindset. Customer service non existent and although the waitress responsible for the outside area did try and assist us a couple of times, our own waitress was sullen and disinterested in our needs. No desserts or specials as they had run out by 7.00pm. The same cocktails arrived in different size glasses despite being charged the same for them. Service was unacceptably slow and the atmosphere none existent. The chicken was comparable to Nandos and not what you would normally expect from Cottons. The seafood was minuscule but presented nicely. Waited 40 minutes for the bill to arrive and left without staff thanking us for attending. As 12 professional black women we eat out regularly and spend a lot of money when we do. However, we have never been treated so shabbily and neither have we ever felt like an inconvenience to an establishment. This truly was the worst experience we have ever encountered and one that left a bitter taste in our mouths, that is sure to be the talk of many future events. It would truly take a lot to persuade us to ever return.
