Going from strength to strength since its opening back in 1998, Curry Paradise is the preferred Indian restaurant of hungry locals in London’s Brixton. As fresh and as modern as the day it first unlocked its doors, the Curry Paradise dining room is fresh and clean in its black and white colour scheme, complete with Taj Mahal inspired doorways, stripped back wooden flooring and super contemporary grey and gold light fixings. Curry Paradise specialises in absolutely authentic Indian cuisine, providing its guests with a wide range of dishes including the old reliables such as masalas and biryanis as well as chef’s specialties, all attractively presented and cooked using fine ingredients and hand blended spices. The fish selection is particularly strong while vegetarians are equally as catered for as their carnivorous friends. Efficient, polite and welcoming service is a Curry Paradise standard whether you visit for a lengthy romantic dinner or for a quick lunchtime bite with friends.

Curry Paradise is a great local restaurant that does all the usual classics very well as well as chef specialities. Each dish is aromatic, fresh and well cooked. Good sized portions, hearty but not heavy and great value for money. We have ordered takeaway a few times but I would recommend visiting the restaurant which has a romantic, stylish and cozy feel. Add to that the wonderful guys who run the place and it makes a treat of an evening.
