We do like a good pub pop-up, especially when it pops up again. Darjeeling Express is now back at the Sun & 13 Cantons in Soho for a second run, this time until March 2016. The pukka Indian cookery was right on track: rich flavours and proper spicing. It’s not pub-grub cheap but we’ll happily return. It serves a full lunch menu and bar snacks until 6pm, then reverts to its primary mission: easing the wheels of Soho’s media imbibers, before they go loco.
