  • Oh my gosh have you tried the Frutti Mare Pizza-well its a flat bread with garlic, olive oil, herbs and mussels, clams, giant prawns and extremley delicious and huge-only £12.50. I get mine via home delivery, its a bit of a struggle ordering over the phone as you have to repeat yourself about 20 times as the mans grasp of engliah isnt great but hey its authentic. Im not a fan of Italian food-i hate it but the very fact im in love with this place proves how good they are.

  • We had a fantastic evening here. The owner is incredibly enthusiastic and took the time to introduce us to his good wines and practically every dish as they came out of the kitchen. The place feels like a traditional, family run restaurant straight out of Italy and is well worth a visit.

  • Great pizzas and lovely music in the evening despite the bland atmosphere. Certainly recommend it for eat in or take away, especially on week days. Have given 5 stars for the taste and the lovely staff.

  • These guys are rocking! The food is absolutely magnificent. I and my husband were delighted by the quality of the food, everyone should try their seafood mix grill, it's sumptuous. The service is professional and it has at the same time that extra italian spice. I'll definately go back for more meals.

  • Went for Valentines day. The menu on the website advertised 2 courses for £20, which turned out to be 2 for £25 when we got there. Only 2 pizzas on the set menu. My fiance had some sort of fried then baked pizza, which was bland to say the least. I had the lamb, which was miniscule, though very tender, but unfortunately also bland. For dessert I had a pancake with Nutella, which I could have done a better job on. The waiters/waitresses were literally sprinting around, which made for a very unpleasant Valentines experience. I'm sure the pizzas are great, but we didn't have the opportunity to experience them. I won't be going back.

  • Am not normally moved to comment but this afternoon was something else. Not off to a promising start, it took 15 minutes to get a drink. My chicken, parma ham and smoked mozzarella turned up minus the ham. And the mozzarella. The wrong pizza turned up for my friend. Whilst they were apologetic and the pizzas were tasty as always, can't help but feel that standards have slopped here of late. Time to raise the stakes

  • was here last night. busy, good atmosphere, nice lay out, italian staff. Delighted with food: pasta dish, sweet potatoes, half a bottle of wine and a bailey's expression. all for £25. Not bad price is it? very very happy with this place.

  • We have been coming to Donna Margherita regularly for over a year now. When we visited on Saturday night the head waiter was overbearing and loud, and the prices seem to have doubled since our last visit. Our bill for 5 came to £250 (two bottles of wine, starters and mains). For this money you could eat in the best London restaurants, which this certainly isn't. We won't be going back.
