[title]
A grand mock-Tudor pub building in London’s Winchmore Hill neighbourhood, the Green Dragon restaurant is where the English capital meets the sunshine and shimmering sea of South East Asia. Wonderfully atmospheric, this dimly lit dining room provides unexpected romance in its every chicly appointed corner, the darkly sensuous colour scheme bringing to mind the most luxurious of Eastern resorts yet with a touch of old world England at the same time. Relaxation can be found among the leather sofas parked alongside roaring open fires or indeed in the bar where ales and beers are served alongside exotic cocktails. A Thai inspired garden is found to the rear of the venue, complete with exotic planting and Buddhist artifacts while the dining room is decorated in boudoir-ish wall coverings. While the main Asian menu fuses Thai with Malaysian and Indonesian dishes the Green Dragon’s bar selection provides Asian favourites but also a good, just as well done collection of British pub grub.
