Probably the only restaurant of its kind, Greenleaf in central London combines Cantonese and Chinese food with all the fun of karaoke. This sleek dining room is found on Red Lion Street in the heart of Holborn, close to Grays Inn Field and as such has a more refined and sophisticated flavour than your average karaoke bar, catering to the upmarket locals from the nearby offices as well as the more enthusiastic wannabe Kate Bushs out there. Central to Greenleaf is the restaurant, the surroundings of which are beautifully appointed in tones of gray and with quirky little touches throughout. The menu created by Greenleaf’s kitchen features both classic Chinese and Cantonese favourites and creatively invented signature dishes in which authentic spicing and flavours are used in contemporary and surprising ways. The result is a grown up, high-end menu that will appeal to Chinese food fans and gourmets alike.
